Translation Rule Actions


Translation rule actions replace data to be disguised with data from a previously created translate table. A rule can contain multiple translation rule actions in addition to other types of rule actions and rule logic.

Before you can use a translate table, it must be registered from Resource Administration > Manage Translate Tables. The translate table must exist before it can be used in a rule action. For more information, see Manage-Translate-Tables. The user role assigned determines who can create translate tables. For more information, see Manage-Security and Role-Authorizations.

When you create your translation rule action, the type of access path you select determines the steps required. See the following topics for instructions on how to create rule actions for each of the available types of access path.
