Four Steps for Testing
To get started quickly, this topic provides a four-basic step overview that you need to know to create and run tests with Virtualized Test. Please see the Reference part of this space, if and when you want to know more details.
At this point, it is presumed that you have already created and configured a project as described in Creating-and-Preparing-a-Test-Project.
Additionally, you need access to the copybooks that you are going to use – either on a local file system or on a remote system.
The four basic steps for manually creating and running a test are:

When debugging a COBOL Batch Program using the 
Code Debug Eclipse debugger,
provides a context menu (Record Test Case……) to automatically generate test case(s) from the debugging session. This eliminates creating the test elements manually.
