Modify Container

Use this functionality to update an assignment's or a release's attributes.

To modify an assignment's attributes

1. In the Containers view, right-click an assignment and select Properties. The Modify Assignment dialog box appears.

2. Revise the fields as necessary based on the field definitions. 

   Important

   • If the task should be associated with a release, select from the Default release list the release with which the task should be associated. Select the blank line to not relate assignments to a release. Optionally, to filter the list of releases, click Filter to open the Release Filter dialog box.
   • To transfer all tasks to the default release associated with the assignment container, select the Transfer all tasks in the assignment to default release check box in the Modify Assignment dialog box.
3. Click OK.

To modify a release's attributes

1. In the Containers view, right-click a release and select Properties. The Modify Release dialog box appears.

2. Revise the fields as necessary based on the field definitions.

   Important

   The User tag field is only enabled if the logged in user ID matches the ID of the filtered owner.

3. Select the Change implementation date (yyyy-mm-dd) and time (hh:mm) check box to change the implementation date and time, then enter the desired date and time in the Date and Time fields.
4. Click OK.
