Contents view
- Displays information about child resources
- Enables filtering for child resources that match search text
- Includes drag and drop functionality that makes moving and copying datasets/members within Workbench for Eclipse easy
- Helps make large lists of resources more manageable
To open the contents view if not already open
From the Window menu, select Show View>Contents.
To turn on and off the show contents option
To turn on the Show Contents option, click . Then click a node in the Host Explorer view. If the node contains child resources, the child resources are displayed in the Contents view along with the properties of the child resources.
Click again to turn the option off.
To display contents information for an individual dataset or folder
Right-click a dataset or folder in the Host Explorer and select Show Contents. The Contents view appears with information about the resources of the selected dataset or folder.
To filter the contents view based on search text
In the type filter text field, type the text to be searched for. Resources with names that contain the search text appear in the table.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
