Copying and moving the z/OS Unix file or directory to another z/OS Unix directory
- Select the z/OS Unix file or directory that you want to copy or move.
Copy or move the files and directory by following one of these operations:

- Press Ctrl+C (to copy) or Ctrl+X (to cut/move). Then select the target directory and press Ctrl+V.
- Drag the selection and drop it on the target directory.
The Move/Copy dialog box appears, listing the source and target directory involved in the copy or move.
If a like-named file exists in the target directory, in the Options box, select or clear the Replace existing like-named files/folders check box.
- Click Copy or Move. The status of each z/OS Unix file copy or move appears in the Status column.
Hover over the Status column to get detailed information on the status. Alternatively, click Details to open the Details dialog box, which displays a summary of the results without the need to hover.
