Reference view

You can search for variables and procedure names in the main file by using the Show References option.

To populate the reference view, perform these steps:

  1. Establish a mainframe connection.
  2. Open any Cobol program.
  3. Right-click on any variable or procedure and select Show References. You can also press CTRL+SHIFT+G from the keyboard.
    The reference view is displayed.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
