Copying files from Windows to z/OS
Users can copy files from Windows to z/OS.
To copy files from Windows to z/OS
- Right-click on the file/folder that you want to copy from Windows and select Copy. You can also press Ctrl+C (to copy).
- Right-click on the z/OS PDS to which you want to copy the file/folder and select Paste. You can also press Ctrl+V (to paste).
The Copy dialog box is displayed.
You can view the new Source file encoding group. In the Source file encoding group, you can view the following options:
Inherited from workspace: This option shows the Text file encoding value from Window >Preferences >General>Workspace.
- Other: This option shows the following Windows codepage name value including UTF-8
