Change Host for BMC Mainframe Project

Offline BMC mainframe projects use local resources that correspond to mainframe resources. If the mainframe resources are moved to another mainframe host, the project needs to be updated to reflect the new host so local resources can be committed back to the mainframe.

Important

This functionality applies only to offline mainframe projects.

To change the host for a BMC mainframe project

  1. In the Project Explorer, right-click the project and select Team>Change Host Location. The Host Explorer dialog box appears.

  2. Select the new host location from the list box.

    Important

    Only hosts previously configured appear in the list. If necessary, configure the new host.

  3. Click OK.
