Delete a Metadata Identifier

To delete a metadata identifier for a project, that project must be open and the associated metadata extension must be selected. All metadata extensions for a particular project are listed on the Extensions tab. Only the project owner or the Data Privacy Administrator can delete a metadata identifier.

To delete a metadata identifier

1. Select and open the desired project from the Rules Explorer view.
2. Select the Extensions tab. This opens the Metadata Extensions view.
3. Select the desired metadata extension. Any associated metadata identifiers appear in the Manage Metadata Identifiers section.
4. Select the desired metadata identifier and click Delete.

5. Confirm the deletion to remove the selected metadata identifier from the Metadata Extensions view and delete it from the project.
