Redefine element

When selecting Redefine element on an element in the Structure or SQL Selection Criteria column in the Stub Editor (see Structure), it opens the Redefine dialog. The dialog is similar to the Select Layout dialog described in Select-Layout-Dialog, with additional Scope selections. Either enter a new layout definition for the element or select an existing layout from the current project's Structure folder. The change in the layout will only affect the selected element, either only for the selected record or all records.

Change all records using current interface

Select this option to redefine the selected element for all records in the stub using the current interface.

Change only selected record

Select this option to redefine the selected element only for the current records.

OK

Click the OK button to execute the redefinition of the selected element.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
