Functional Test tab
A Functional Test (Non-virtualized test) scenario contains information about the program interfaces it calls. It does not contain information about how and where to call the program. This is an advantage as the Total Test Scenario can be used on different environments as long as the program interfaces are the same.
Components from Repository
The Execution Context dialog box will analyze the Total Test Scenario and find all components. It will look up these in the repository and present the components with their ID and label in the table in this section. If several components exist for the same program name and environment, it will show a warning and you must choose which component to use. A dropdown will be available for the component in the table.
Host Runtime Parameters
The host runtime parameters table shows values of required and optional runtime parameters needed for executing each program in the Total Test Scenario. Values are automatically retrieved from the repository when the execution context is created or opened. A warning will be shown if a component cannot be found in the repository for the selected environment or if values in the table are different from values in the repository. Values can be changed manually by double-clicking on a row or select a row and click on the Edit button. The following dialog box appears.
Now, you can manually change the runtime parameters and still see the default values for the fields.
Use Reset from repository to reset all values back to the values defined for the selected component in the repository.
