Import a Global Composite Data Item
A global composite data item can be used by multiple projects. To import a composite data item into a project, that project must be open. The user role assigned determines who can modify a project by importing a global composite data item into the project. For more information, see Manage-Security and Role-Authorizations.
To import a global composite data item:
- Select and open the desired project from the Rules Explorer view.
- Select the Composites tab. This opens the Composites view.
- In the Data Items area, click Global. This opens the Import Global Data Item dialog box.
Select the desired global composite data item and click Import. This composite data item now appears in the Data Items area of the Composites view. You can select more than one composite data item at a time from the Import Global Data Item dialog box.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
