Opening Code Analysis
Following are the instructions for opening Code Analysis:
To open Code Analysis
- Start Workbench for Eclipse.
- Use Host Explorer to open the desired program in the Workbench COBOL Editor or Workbench PL/I Editor and optionally download any associated copybooks. If the Code Analysis perspective is not already selected, do either of the following:
- Right-click the program source and select Analyze Program.
- From the BMC menu, select the Code Analysis perspective.
Code Analysis creates a chart of the program's structure and displays it in a separate view. Each program structure chart you open is displayed in a new view labeled with the program name. If the program cannot be analyzed for some reason, an error message will appear.
