Functional Test Quick Installation Summary

This topic summarizes how to install  components including the Functional Test feature.

Success

Tip

You must configure the Total Test Repository server and z/OS Agent before you can use the following Functional Test features related to testing in a real CICS environment and test subprograms with a linking section in batch:

  • Palette elements Functional Test
  • Verify Data sets
  • Read Records 
  • Write Records

All other functional batch testing in the  works out-of-the-box and does not require the Total Test Repository server and z/OS Agent configuration.

Functional Test is a component of  and requires several products to be installed and configured:

  •  () Release 17.02 with USS and Functional Test PTFs applied (included in the latest maintenance)
  • MongoDB
  •  (Web Client) Release 20.05
     () server and  Repository Server
  •   (Eclipse Client) Release 20.05
