Mount zFS file system for product files

To create and mount a zFS file for this purpose, use any one of the following methods for immediate use:

• Set up an additional mount for Functional Test using the XATDFVAR sample job.

  FILESYSTEM('@hlq@.VAR.ZFS') +
  MOUNTPOINT('@pathprefix@/var/xatester') +
  TYPE(ZFS) +
  MODE(RDWR)

  or

• Share the mount as defined during the ECC installation. The following example shows the BMC Installer default values for the zFS Target Data set Information when installing Enterprise Common Components. Modify it to your site’s requirements:

  TYPE(ZFS) PARM('AGGRGROW')

  Important

  Add the MOUNT statements to your current PARMLIB BPXPRMxx member to keep the product zFS file system permanently mounted.
