Xatz log messages from batch unit tests are written to DDNAME XASYSOUT.

Xatz log messages from CICS unit tests are written to TD Queue CSMT.

The following messages are used by Functional Test in SYSOUT and console messages.

Message Categories

The following table lists the message categories.

Category	Explanation
S	A severe error that affects the system as a whole. The system might shut down.
E	Error that affect only one user. That user might be forced to start up again. The error does not affect other users.
W	Warning. Not important error that lets the system continue. Could be an invalid change of parameter, where system defaults to a pre-set system value.
I	Information. During start up, close down, and statistics.
T	Trace messages that will only appear when VERBOSE=T.
