Connections

A connection specifies the location of the host and other settings of how to communicate with the Total Test Host server and the database system. New connections are only created when new physical servers arrive. This can be z/OS machines, RD/T boxes and even a Linux/windows machine for simulating a mainframe. Connections are defined under Configuration > Connections, and only administrators can add and change them. Setting up connections is described in Configuring the Total Test Repository Server under Configuring Connections, in the BMC AMI Web Products Installation and Configuration Guide.
