Comparing Scripts (VTAM)

A mismatch occurs when an output screen from the domain destination does not match the expected screen (the screen image contained in the script).

When a mismatch occurs during playback, a mismatch message appears and the status line changes to show that a mismatch condition exists. The screen also displays the available commands that enable you to examine the mismatch or proceed with playback.

Tip

You can also perform comparisons using batch processing. See Unattended-Playback-Dubbing-and-Comparison-for-3270-and-LU0-Scripts-VTAM for information.
