Run a Test Case (ATV)

1. On the Test Case screen, type R (Run) on the Command line and press Enter. The Run Test Case screen is displayed in the following figure.

2. The test case name and description fields are pre-filled with the information from the selected test case and cannot be changed.
3. The Iteration Reference input field can be used to specify a reference value of your choosing (such as a build number) as a user tag to correlate the test results data to this test run instance. It will be shown on the detail, summary, and each test case result in the user-consumable result CSV file. For more information, see Test Results CSV File. Any text string is acceptable, but double-quote characters (") in the string will be converted to spaces.
4. Enter an e-mail address to receive a notice when this test case run has completed.
5. Enter a slash (/) in the Suppress email distribution of failure notice field to disable automatic distribution of test case failure notices.
6. Press Enter to confirm your request and run this test case, or use END to cancel the run and return to the Test Case screen.

If you press Enter, you return to the Test Case screen and a message is displayed stating that the job was submitted.
