Approve Test Case (ATV)

Approving a test case puts it into a production state allowing it to automatically run with Vehicle run requests and Playlist requests in which it has been added. 

  1. On the Test Case screen, type A (Approve) on the Command line and press Enter. The Approve Test Case screen is displayed in the following figure.

       Press ENTER to approve test case, use END to cancel.
  2. Press Enter to approve the test case and return to the Test Case screen, or use END to return to the Test Case screen without approving the test case.
    Approving a test case changes the Test Case Status to APPROVED. A comment prompt is provided to the user to add a comment to the change log entry.

  Use the END command to save the comment with the change log entry.
  Use the CANCEL command to save the change log entry with no comment.

After a test case is Approved, When a user changes a test case status or edits the test case steps, a change log comment prompt is provided to the user and a change log entry is saved.
