data set name

Qualified (quoted) or unqualified (no quotes) data set name to pass to the Browse screen. If no data set name is specified, the last data set referenced in File-AID is used as a default.

Guidelines

The FBROWSE command may be used to invoke another File-AID browse session without ending the current session. After the new browse session is completed, the original session is continued.

Use the FB abbreviation, or the F1 alias to invoke FBROWSE. You can enter FBROWSE from any screen with a COMMAND field. Use the END command (PF3) on the Browse screen or the RETURN command (PF4) on a data display to return to the screen from which you entered the FBROWSE command.
