CR (CREATE SQL)

The CR row command initiates the create object process. This command is valid for aliases, column masks, databases, indexes, locations, logical units, row permissions, storage groups, sequences, stored procedures, synonyms, tables, tablespaces, triggers, user-defined data types, and views. Use this command to create an object like a current object.

When CR is executed, File-AID for Db2 Object Administration opens object editing windows where you can define the new object. See Object Editing Windows. You must be editing the current attributes to define the new object.

When you finish editing the object’s attributes, press <Go> to generate the SQL.

For step-by-step instructions see Part 2, User Guide.

Use the CALC primary command to calculate new space requirements; File-AID for Db2 Object Administration will transfer the result to your windows. See CALC-Space-Calculate.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
