Checking for errors (silent install)

A log file named DevEnterprise_Install_mm_dd_yyyy_hh_mm_ss.log (default name) logs whether the setup was successful. Review the log file to determine the result of the setup.

To check for errors

Open DevEnterprise_Install_mm_dd_yyyy_hh_mm_ss.log, which was created in the location where DevEnterprise was installed (C:\Program Files(x86)\Compuware\DevEnterprise by default). The log file contains a Summary section, the first line of which indicates whether the installation was successful. If not, the log's Install Log Detail section will indicate which step failed.
