This topic provides the following information:

Important

During the installation, Linux installations of Data Studio products should point to the location of Java to be used. This is the same as the current installation process.

DevX installations, remote execution servers, and File-AID Rules Engine installations need to define the TOPAZ_JAVA_HOME environment variable to point to OpenJDK.

For batch executions against the standalone execution server, do the following:

  • Update any other windows .bat files to be able to run them using OpenJDK.
  • Add "-add-opens=java.base/jdk.internal.ref=ALL-UNNAMED" to the java vm arguments in any batch files that run java.
