Starting and Stopping the Local File-AID/EX Execution Server

To start the execution server

From the File-AID/EX Homebase window's Tools menu, select Local Execution Server>Start. This menu option is disabled if the local execution server is already running.

Important

A BMC AMI DevX Workbench for Eclipse client checks in its license automatically if no activity is observed on the local execution server after a three-minute timeout.

To stop the execution server

From the File-AID/EX Homebase window's Tools menu, select Local Execution Server>Stop. This menu option is disabled if the local execution server is already stopped.
