Using the Report Wizard


The Report Wizard lets users quickly generate a report and save it with the specification.

To generate a report using the Report Wizard

  1. After executing a compare and viewing the results, from the Reports menu, select Create Results Report. The Report Wizard - Results Association page appears.

    Warning

    Note: If the Report Wizard is accessed by right-clicking Results Data in the tree view, the Report Wizard - Generation Options window appears. Skip to step 5.

  2. From the Results Repository list, select the repository that contains the results from which to create the report.
  3. From the table, select the results from which to create the report.
  4. Click Next. The Report Wizard Generation Options page appears.
  5. Select options to appear in the results report.
  6. Click Next. The Report Wizard - Save page appears.
  7. Type a title and comments for the report header as well as a report name and description to appear in the tree view.
  8. Optionally, select the View Report check box to view the report after it has finished processing.
  9. Click Finish. The report processes. The report is listed in the tree view and the actual report appears on the right pane.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
