Table Structure Compare Overview


A table structure compare checks for differences between the definition of tables or views. Within each table or view, the fields, keys, foreign keys, and indexes are compared. This type of comparison checks the structure of the components, not the data values for each component. The maximum number of tables allowed in a comparison is 100. The maximum number of fields allowed within a table is 990.

To create a table structure compare

From the File menu, select New > Table Structure Compare.
