Setting AutoMap Preferences

ComparePro automatically maps baseline data to test data using the Automap feature. By default, fields are mapped in the order they appear in the file or table. You can change how fields are automapped using the Preferences dialog box.

To set automap preferences

  1. Click Tools > Preferences on the ComparePro window. The Preferences dialog box appears.
  2. Select the Automap tab.
  3. Clear Map rows sequentially.
  4. Use the other options on this tab to define how ComparePro matches baseline data to test data.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
