Results for Stored Procedure Compare

The Results window for a Stored Procedure compare displays a summary view for the stored procedure comparison results.

The Results window appears when you click View Results on the Execution Status Viewer or select Results Data in the tree view.

The left side of this window displays the tree view, containing links to the Specification, each set of Results Data, and all Reports that have been created from the Results Data.

The top line In the main portion of the window, displays the pairing for the baseline and test data sources.

  • A red bell (icon_red_bell.gif) indicates that differences were found.
  • A green check mark (icon_green_check.gif) indicates that no differences between the baseline and test data were found.

The colors displayed in the bar graph correspond to the colors in the pie charts on this tab, and the colors displayed in the Detailed Results Viewer.

The pie charts display a breakdown for the type of differences found for baseline and test data, including the number of lines compared, the total number of differences found, and the number of deleted, moved, or inserted lines.

  • Right-click on the pie chart and select Show Identicals, to view or hide statistics for identical data within the pie charts.
  • Click any region of the pie chart to display the Detailed Results Viewer filtered for the type of difference selected.

Detailed Results: Displays the Detailed Results Viewer. The lower pane in this window displays the Pairing Info tab containing connection information for the baseline and test data sources.
