Connection Wizard - COBOL Copybook Record Layout

Use the COBOL Copybook Record Layout dialog box to review the settings for the COBOL copybook. The table on this dialog box shows how the data appears after parsing, using this copybook.

To review the settings for the COBOL copybook

  1. From the Record Layout Selection dialog box when COBOL - Flat File Copybook is selected, click Next. The Flat File COBOL Copybook Record Layout dialog box appears.
  2. From the Record Separator list, select the record separator.
  3. Optionally, click Advanced Properties to open the Flat File Advanced Properties dialog box to set the code page and Endian properties.
  4. Click Finish to save this connector and exit the Data Connection Wizard. The ComparePro window Baseline or Test tab appears, depending on which was being defined.
