File-AID/EX ComparePro

File-AID/EX ComparePro is a data comparison utility for developers working in the distributed environment.

Using ComparePro, users can compare information at the database, table, and row level. Data in XML, flat files using COBOL layouts, and ASCII text files can be compared. Users can also compare related data in Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL Server, DB2 UDB, and any Database Management System (DBMS) for which they have a 32-bit JDBC driver.

With ComparePro, users can compare data from selected tables in addition to database structures, and text files.

With its easy-to-use wizards, the tedious task of comparing data is very simple. The comparison report includes rows that have been inserted, deleted, or changed. The comparison report also shows the detailed differences between stored procedures or triggers that are being compared. In addition, users can build specifications that can be grouped together in a group specification. These specifications can be executed interactively or in batch mode. All specifications and results can be saved for re-execution or review.
