SM – Server Maintenance
Maintenance commands can be issued to the Code Pipeline server.
Server Maintenance Control Screen
The following figure shows a list of Server Maintenance commands. It is the first screen displayed after entering option SM.

COMMAND ===>
The following commands can be disruptive to users and should be used with
care.
R REFRESH - Refresh reference/control data
P STOP - Stop request processing
S START - Start request processing
D DLGREFR - Refresh Custom Dialog data
C CFGREFR - Refresh Config Name Table
The following commands should only be performed under the direction of
Technical Support staff.
T TRACE START - Start ALL Server Tracing
X TRACE STOP - Stop ALL Server Tracing
M TRACE MODIFY - Modify Server Trace operation
If 'M', New Trace Control Statement

General Notes
The Server Refresh function is the option that will probably be most commonly used by Code Pipeline Administrators. Other options may be used if requested by the Technical Support staff.

P | Stops the server. |
R | Refreshes the Reference Data in the Code Pipeline server cache. |
S | Starts the server. |
D | Refreshes in-storage table of Custom Dialogs |
C | Refreshes in-storage table of Runtime Configuration names applicable to this Code Pipeline instance. |
T | Turns on ALL Server tracing. |
X | Stops ALL Server tracing. |
M | Modify the current Trace settings by adding a Trace command. |
Server Refresh
This function is used to refresh the Server Cache memory. The Code Pipeline Server loads all Reference Data into memory when it is started to ensure good performance. When Reference Data is changed, a Server Refresh ensures that the latest versions are loaded into memory.
