Managing deployments

You can use the Deployments page to view and manage the deployment process for Requests in BMC AMI DevX Code Pipeline. To access this page, click the Deployments tab in the Code Pipeline Web UI.

The Visualization pane on the Deployments page visually represents the selected deployment request, its component packages, and its items. For more information, see Working-with-visualizations.

The Deployments page lists all the sets that include deployment requests in the Code Pipeline system. You can use the options in the Action section to view and manage the deployment requests, and access more details for a deployment request in the Request details section.

The Request details section includes the following information:

  • Status of the deployment request
  • Current sets that contain the deployments
  • Description of the set
  • Date and time when the request was created

You can also navigate to the deployment packages and items within a deploy request.

You can navigate into a deployment request to view the packages within, and further into packages to view items within the packages.

On the UI, you can move a column, refresh, copy, print, and export the table, choose columns to view in the table, filter and sort the values in the table, and choose how many records you want to view in the table. For more information about these actions, see Common-UI-actions.

Important

If the Deployments table is empty, the Copy to clipboard CopyToClipboard.pngoption is disabled.

If the Deployments table is empty, the Export.png option is disabled.

On the Deployments page, you can also perform the following actions:

View packages within a deployment request

Click a Request ID or Set ID in the relevant row. For more information, see Managing-packages.

Cancel a deployment request

Click Cancel Cancel.pngin the relevant row.

Restart a deployment request

Click Restart Restart.pngin the relevant row.

Terminate a deployment request

Click Terminate Terminate.pngin the relevant row.

View the visual representation of the deployment request, and its component packages and items

Click Visualization Visualization.pngin the relevant row.

Alternatively, click Visualization Visualization.png above the table.

View the messages available for a deployment request

Click View messages ViewMessages.png in the relevant row.


 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
