Getting started

BMC AMI DevX Code Pipeline is an active work environment that coordinates and controls application development and support work. It makes life easy for Code Pipeline users by invoking the right tool at the right point in the process. Using Code Pipeline, developers don’t need to know file names or even how to generate modules. Code Pipeline hides the underlying files and mechanics of application development by safely keeping that information in its repository.

BMC AMI DevX Code Pipeline Web is an internet-based application designed to be used on workstations or smartphones. It simplifies some actions that you can perform in the TSO/ISPF user interface to remotely view, manage, approve, or reject Code Pipeline actions. To use Code Pipeline Web on your smartphone, switch to a mobile browser.

Depending on your Code Pipeline Web configuration, you might be able to launch Approvals and Deployments. For more information about Deployments, see Managing-deployments.
