Installing

Steps involved

  1. Order Code Debug TSO and Code Debug IMS and its companion products, including the latest maintenance, via product ordering web page or by contacting BMC Installer Mainframe Products SMP/E Installation.
  2. Read this Installation and Configuration Space and complete each of the milestones to:
    1. Ensure companion products have been installed and configured with the latest maintenance and that the license for Code Debug TSO andCode Debug IMS has been imported.
    2. Perform the SMP/E installation of Code Debug TSO and Code Debug IMSaccording to the BMC Installer Mainframe Products SMP/E Installation.
    3. Implement the BMC AMI Common Mainframe Services Controller (CMSC) PARMLIB.
    4. Configure Code Debug TSO andCode Debug IMS for either a new installation or an upgrade. This includes implementing the BMC AMI Common Mainframe Services Controller (CMSC) PARMLIB.
    5. Perform additional configuration for Workbench for Eclipse and other features.
    6. Deploy Code Debug TSO and Code Debug IMS to additional environments.
    7. Troubleshoot any problems with the installation.
