Messages


Messages written to the console or CSMT contain an identifier with a common format:

pppccnnnns [dd mmm yyyy hh:mm:ss]where

ppp

is the message prefix MXD

cc

is a component identifier (such as GB, LM, or PA)

nnnn

is the message number

s

is the message severity (I=Informational, E=Error, F=Fatal, W=Warning, S=Severe)

dd mmm yyyy

is the date the message was issued

hh:mm:ss

is the time the message was issued

Date and time are included for CSMT messages.
