Using supplied Abend-AID for CICS transactions

This section describes how to manually control transaction and region dump interfaces using the CICS AAON transaction supplied with Abend-AID for CICS. For information about how to automatically control CICS dump interfaces, see Adding-PLT-entries.

Note

Before you can use the supplied transaction, you must have already defined to CICS the Abend-AID dump interface control program for the version of CICS you are using. This procedure is normally completed during configuration, as described in Modifying-CICS-resource-entries.
