Controlling Abend-AID batch processing

This section describes how to alter batch Abend-AID processing through the use of Abend-AID DD statements, tables, and user exits. It begins with an overview of the processing control hierarchy. This section also provides detailed information about batch Abend-AID DD statements and tables. See Customizing-batch-Abend-AID-with-user-coded-programs-and-exits for detailed information about user exits.

Note

The following roles are required for this section:

•Abend-AID administrator

•Abend-AID programmer

When you use the Abend-AID DD statements, tables, and user exits, a hierarchy exists that determines Abend-AID control. The following control hierarchy within Abend-AID defines the order in which overrides occur.
