BMC source listing DSNs

We recommend that you include BMC source listing data sets at Abend-AID Viewer start-up. Specify them on the //MFDDXLSF DD statement. You can concatenate several data sets on the //MFDDXLSF DD statement.

If you’re installing Abend-AID for CICS, you can define source listing files in the viewing server JCL or to the CICS region.

  • Defining them in the viewing server JCL makes them available to all reports in the viewing server.
  • Defining them to the CICS region makes them available to the reports for that region. For more information about defining them to the CICS region, see Source Listing Files.

Source listing data sets will appear with the designation Server on the Source Directory screen. For more information about the Source Directory screen, see Managing-Source-Files in the Abend-AID User reference guide or Managing Source Files in the Abend-AID for CICS User's guide.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
