Accessing Abend-AID via the Viewer in CES

Abend-AID can link to the Abend-AID Web interface if you are licensed for Abend-AID or Abend-AID for CICS and one or both products are installed on your system.

To access Abend-AID data via CES, you must have Abend-AID configured and running in your environment and you must have the required privileges to use it. You must also have a relevant Abend-AID Viewer link configured.

The Abend-AID Viewer links page displays Abend-AID viewer cards created via the Abend-AID Viewer link maintenance page and via CMSC as tiles on the UI. To access one of them, click Login on that tile. You are redirected to the corresponding Abend-AID URL, where you must login with your User ID. When you log on with the authorized credentials, you can access the data as illustrated in the subsequent sections.

When you access the link, the Abend-AID diagnostic summary report appears within a browser as shown in the following figures. When the application source is available in the default Abend-AID listing files, the diagnostic shows the source code merged into the analysis.

The following figures show the Abend-AID diagnostic report as it appears for Abend-AID version 17.2 and Abend-AID for CICS version 17.2.
