Fault Analytics Viewer


The Viewer consists of three components: Reports, Preferences, and Administration. The Fault Analytics Viewer allows you to view Reports, set Preferences (Default Report Parameters) and perform a number of administrative functions. You can view and create management reports and define rules.

The Administration component is where you can: (the user must have Administrator permissions to view Administration icon).

  • Create links to the Abend-AID Web Interface.
  • Control the event routers on the Windows server platform.
  • Set the database access parameters.
  • Configure e-mail usage.
  • Create rules.
  • Define users and assign roles. See Users and Roles.

The Reports component is where you can manage and view reports available from the Abend-AID Fault Analytics database.

The Preferences component is where you can:

  • Manage your individual Abend-AID Fault Analytics preferences.
  • Select the default values to be used when opening a report.
