Adding an issue tracking configuration
You can add an issue tracking configuration to integrate the BMC AMI products with Atlassian's issue tracking system - JIRA. To add an issue tracking configuration:
- On the Add issue page, on the Step 1: Location & credentials tab, enter a descriptive Name for the issue. iStrobe uses this name as a identifier.
- Select the Type of issue tracking system being used. Currently, CES supports JIRA only.
- In Server name, enter the location of the server on which the issue tracking system resides.
- Enter your Username. You must have the authority to create JIRA issues.
- Enter the Password associated with your user name and click Next.
- On the Step 2: Project information tab, select the appropriate Project for the selected issue tracking system.
- Select the required Issue type and click Next.
- On the Step 3: Field mapping tab, configure how to identify fields within the issue tracking system. Select appropriate values for each field. These fields vary and correspond specifically with those in the selected issue tracking system.
- Click Finish. The issue tracking configuration is added to the list of configurations.
