Viewing web server logs


The Logging tab contains Web server logs of various web product components.

On the UI, you can move a column, refresh the table, and sort the values in the table, and choose how many records you want to view in the table. For more information about these actions, see Common-UI-actions.

On this tab, you can also perform the following actions:

Action

View the logs of a component.

In the Log filename column, click the value in the relevant component row. 

Download a log file.

Click Download Download.pngin the relevant row.

View the logging level of a component.

In the Logging Level column, view the value in the relevant component row.

Settings in the Logging Level list are used for diagnostics. The defaults are shipped for minimal logging for all web-based product log files.

Important

We recommend that settings in the Logging Level list not be changed, unless when instructed by BMC Support.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
