Accessing ETA from a CLIST

A sample CLIST that provides access to the online interface using LIBDEF is available in the SAMP library.

You can copy member ETACI@00 of the SAMP library into your CLIST library and update the following data set names to reference your data sets:

  • &ETALLIB
  • &ETAMLIB
  • &ETAPLIB
  • &ETATLIB

Note

CLIST ETACI@00 from ETA versions earlier than 3 is not compatible with ETA version 3. You must copy ETACI@00 from the version 3 SAMP library. If ETA version 3 uses the old CLIST, you will receive a system 806 abend.
