PING command

Use the PING command to display the status of the XBM subsystems on a CPU.

The PING command can be sent by the ROUTE command (ROUTE-command) to display the status of all XBM subsystems in a data sharing group.

Syntax for the PING command

Note

If the PSS component is inactive, you can only PING the XBM subsystem that is processing the command.
