Using IDCAMS(*)
IDCAMS(*) means that for all subsequent recoveries, the Recovery utility should invoke IDCAMS processing using the member name retrieved from the AMSPDS/DELPDS DD statement that matches the ddname of the database or area data set.
If the specified member name is not found in the AMSPDS, the Recovery utility skips IDCAMS processing for that recovery.
You must include the AMSPDS DD statement when using IDCAMS(*). The DELPDS DD statement is optional.
If you specify both BLDINDEX(Y) and IDCAMS(*), IDCAMS processing is invoked for each recovered primary or secondary index.
