SLDS keyword
The SLDS keyword allows you to force the Recovery utility to use the SLDS as input. This can be useful when the RLDSs are kept at a remote location or any location different from where the recovery is being performed.
The SLDS keyword also works with the SLOG keyword to control the use of preferred and alternate logs. For more information, see Designating-preferred-and-alternate-logs.
If you specify the SLDS keyword, do not specify the LOGINPUT keyword.
