Manage profiles with the ISPF interface

Profiles store processing information that RMGR uses while performing functions.

RMGR uses profiles differently depending on whether they are assigned to objects or to an elemental group, the type of group that is being processed, and other factors. The use of profiles (other than the system-default profile) is optional and depends on your environment and needs. You may find that for most RMGR functions, the system-default profile is adequate.
