Initiate functions with the Batch Interface utility

The following section provides general information about initiating Recovery Manager (RMGR) functions with the Batch Interface utility (program name IRMBATCH).

For details about the functions, keywords, return codes, and reports that are specific to those functions, see the individual function sections in this space.

Note

The Batch Interface utility also performs administrative tasks such as backing up the repository (FUNCTION=REPOSITORYBACKUP) and deleting status records (FUNCTION=STATUSDELETE). The information in the following section does not necessarily apply to these functions and is not complete for them.
