Select a user-selected point in time

If no other recovery type works for you and you know the recovery time to use, you can simply specify the timestamp as a PIT recovery.

Warning

Do not specify a later timestamp than the timestamp that is reported in the Latest PIT Recovery Time field in the RECON Cleanup utility report.

  • Batch Interface utility: Specify RECOVERTO=RVPPIT and provide the timestamp as the value of the TIMESTAMP keyword.
  • Recovery Options panel: Select option 4 (To a BMC Point in Time).
